MARC SADLER

Born in Austria to French parents, Marc Sadler has lived and worked professionally in France, the United States, Asia, and Italy. Among the first graduates in Industrial Design (Esthétique Industrielle) from ENSAD in Paris, he is recognized as a pioneer in materials research and in the cross-pollination of technologies—key elements that define his work. In the early 1970s, he developed the world’s first ski boot made entirely from recyclable thermoplastic material, later industrialized by the Italian company Caber. Today, thanks to his eclectic and forward-thinking approach, he collaborates with companies across a wide range of industrial sectors. A four-time winner of the Compasso d’Oro, as well as the recipient of four Honorable Mentions from ADI (the Italian Association for Industrial Design), he has earned numerous additional international awards throughout his career.
